I love sharing my book with kids, educators, and families. I especially find explaining how the brain works to learn how to make sense out of lines, curves, dots, and squiggles to be highly motivating for all stakeholders. Here is an equation I find particularly useful to share, as they constitute the ingredients for LITERACY SUCCESS:

Ready to schedule a visit?
I offer both in-person and virtual presentations for children of all ages with their teachers AND/OR Professional Development for adult stakeholders (teachers, administrators, parents, caregivers). Student centered presentations would include a child-centric short slide show, selected readings from Calling All Neurons!, as well as a hands-on followup activity. Adult centered presentations would include a more advanced slide show with selected readings, and can be customized to your needs and desires. Of course, Q&A sessions are more than welcome.
Virtual visits are hosted via your school-hosted platform (Zoom, Google Classroom, or other). Need funding?
